Tamara Essex, trading as Tamara Essex Consultancy, recognises that day-to-day
operations can impact both directly and indirectly on the environment. She
aims to protect and improve the environment through good management and by
adopting best practice wherever possible.
Tamara Essex Consultancy will work to integrate environmental considerations
into her business decisions and adopt greener alternatives wherever possible,
throughout her operations.
The key points of my strategy to achieve this are -
-
Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient
as possible;
-
Prevent pollution to land, air and water.
-
Reduce water and energy use.
-
Improve the environmental efficiency of our transport and travel decisions,
and our power supplies;
-
Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and
suppliers;
-
Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to work and
home activities;
-
Seek genuine and effective ways to offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated
by work and home activities;
-
Monitor the carbon footprint of work and home activities and seek ways to
reduce it.
