Shaftesbury Local Food Festival - Shop Windows.

Swans Trust and the Festival Organisers would like to thank the Shaftesbury & District Chamber of Trade and all the local traders for their continuing support for Shaftesbury Local Food Festival.

Shaftesbury is renowned for its wide range of interesting independent shops, and traders of all kinds show their support for events like the Shaftesbury Local Food Festival by joining in with the Shop Window Competition.

Displays for 2010 will be in place from Saturday 24th April, until Sunday 2nd May. Voting slips can be collected from the Swans Yard office in the centre of the town, and the public can use these to guide them around all the shops taking part. Voting slips need to be returned to Swans Yard by 2nd May, and the winners will be announced in the local press.

See how imaginative our superb independent shops can be in using the wonderful visual opportunity offered by their windows to promote local food and the local food festival.  Some pictures of previous winners can be seen by clicking on the "2009 pics" apple above.
